Born on 7-4-1887, P.Durgashankar Mehta was son of Shri Kripashankar Mehta, Extra Asst. Comm. After retirement, Kripashankarji settled at Jabalpur ; though originally he was staying at Sagar near Kadam well. Durgashankarji had two brothers & one sister. Shri ShriKrishna Selot was born on 27.7.1906. His mother died when he was only two years old. His father Shri Shivnath died in 1920. Shri Selot was brought up by his maternal uncle late Shri Durga Shanker Mehta, Seoni. He took his elementary education in Mission High School and passed Higher Secondary examination from Allahabad Higher Secondary Board in 1923. He obtained Graduate Degree in 1929 from Agriculture College, Nagpur. He was married to the daughter of late Shri Rewa Shanker Pandya (Kamptee) in 1926 .......
